Our Story

Señor Sisig started as a food truck with a simple goal: bring bold Filipino flavors to the Bay Area in a way that felt familiar, approachable, and fun.

What began on the streets of San Francisco has grown into multiple restaurant locations in San Francisco and Oakland — all rooted in the same communities that supported us from day one. We’ve always believed food is more than something you eat. It’s culture, connection, and a reflection of where you’re from.

OUR MISSION

To serve bold Filipino-American flavors while celebrating the culture and community that inspire us.

We aim to create welcoming spaces, support local creatives, and represent the Bay Area through food that’s made with intention and heart.

OUR FOOD

Our food is inspired by Filipino classics and shaped by Bay Area creativity.

Our menu showcases a bold fusion of flavors, featuring burritos, tacos, rice bowls, nachos—all customizable with your choice of our signature sisig or other proteins.

Meet the Owners

Señor Sisig is co-owned by Evan Kidera and Gilster “Gil” Payumo, longtime friends with deep ties to Filipino culture and the Bay Area.

Together, they’ve grown Señor Sisig from a single food truck into a community-driven brand — one that goes beyond food to uplift culture, creativity, and connection.
